Tania Agius joined the Malta Business Registry (MBR) in 2020 and is a compliance analyst within the Compliance Unit. She plays a pivotal role within the team, and supports the Compliance Unit in key areas including compliance monitoring and reporting with a concentration on on-site inspections ensuring that companies are compliant with the regulations emanating from the Companies Act and Companies Act (Register of Beneficial Ownership) Regulations. Tania has over 15 years of professional experience in the financial sector and prior to joining the MBR, she worked for a major bank both in Malta and in the UK, where she occupied various positions and obtained valuable experience in different areas within the banking industry.
