During this session the speaker will be providing an overview of certain company law topics related to, the different types of, and the legal features relevant to, commercial partnerships as regulated by the Companies Act, Chapter 386 of the laws of Malta, including partnerships and limited liability companies and the different ways of financing a company from a Companies Act perspective. This session will be targeted at accountants or students who wish to obtain a better understanding of the legal basis to certain formalities linked to the preparation of the annual accounts, approval of such accounts at the annual general meeting and other annual obligations, in terms of the Companies Act.
