[ONLINE] VAT Treatment of Shipping & Aviation Related Transactions. – 7 May
The scope of the session is to identify the main provisions in the Maltese VAT Act Cap.406 of the Laws of Malta and the EU VAT Directive 2006/112/EC applicable to the shipping/yachting and aviation sectors and discuss the correct manner in which such provisions are to be interpreted from a Maltese VAT perspective.
In order to do so, apart from the respective legislations, reference will also be made to relevant CJEU Cases, VAT Department Guidelines, Council Implementing Regulations and other relevant literature.

Participation and feedback would be encouraged together with using practical and worked examples to make the session much more interesting, useful and relevant for all attendees.
Participants will be encouraged to raise any VAT queries they might have in connection with these sectors to discuss the respective VAT implications.
Qualifies for 2 CPE Core hours under the core competency area.
Seminar Fee
The seminar fee is €45.00 Members, €50.00 non-Members . The fee covers seminar participation and access to event resources.
A receipt will be issued to all participants.
