By completing NIS2 in Practice: Building Cybersecurity Compliance, participants will gain the practical skills needed to lead an organization through the entire regulatory lifecycle, starting with comprehensive gap analyses to evaluate readiness against EU mandates. Learners will master the design and execution of Article 21 technical and organizational risk management measures, build swift incident reporting workflows to meet mandatory 24-hour and 72-hour notification deadlines, and structure robust supply chain frameworks to mitigate third-party vulnerabilities. Additionally, the course equips professionals to establish board-level governance standards and risk oversight protocols that satisfy strict regulatory expectations and minimize executive liability.

The expanded scope of the NIS2 Directive significantly broadens compliance requirements beyond traditional critical infrastructure, directly impacting Essential Entities across energy, transport, banking, healthcare, drinking water, and digital infrastructure including cloud, data center, and managed service providers (MSPs). It equally applies to Important Entities across postal services, waste management, chemical and food production, digital platforms, research institutions, and manufacturing sectors such as electronics, medical devices, and motor vehicles. Crucially, the directive extends to any vendor, contractor, or software provider operating within the supply chain of these regulated organizations, making compliance a mandatory operational requirement across nearly every major industry in the EU economy.
