[ONLINE] Introduction to the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Regulations under Maltese Law & Continuation of Limited Liability Companies outside Malta -6 December
Session 1 will be delivered by Dr. Stuart Firman and will focus on the recently enacted legislation The National Foreign Direct Investment Screening Office Act which came into force in 2020. This session will seek to give the audience an introduction to the key provisions of the Act and certain practical considerations to keep in mind when interpreting it.
Session 2 will be delivered by Dr. Stephanie J. Coppini and will focus on the continuation of Maltese companies outside Malta, tackling both the legal and practical aspects of the entire process from a Maltese law perspective and the Malta Business Registry requirements.
