[ONLINE] ESEF Reporting Process – An Overview of 2 years 9 May

The European Single Electronic Format (ESEF) is the single electronic reporting format for the preparation of annual financial reports to be published by Issuers whose securities are admitted to trading on a regulated market in the European Union for financial years beginning on or after 1 January 2021 with block tagging of notes applicable as of 1 January 2022. The presenter has been involved hands on within this process in both 2021 and 2022 within the banking industry experiencing the implications that such process has brought about with it. The session will provide an overview of the requirements of ESEF, the challenges experienced, lessons learnt and how to be better prepared for annual reporting in line with the applicable regulations . It shall also present key aspects which are also relevant for auditor’s work on ESEF, including the role of the auditor.
