Seminar Description
“Transparency” is the new buzz word in the current tax landscape, this inevitably impacted laws and regulations in an effort to enhance transparency and this impacted our day-to-day lives.
Two initiatives that were introduced in Malta that aim at increasing transparency in tax matters are the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and the Common Reporting Standard (CRS). These initiatives increased pressure on financial institutions holding accounts for their clients / customers to perform additional due diligence requirements and in certain cases report personal information to the Maltese tax authorities.
This practical workshop will focus on FATCA and CRS main issues.
Qualifies for 3 CPE CORE hours under the core competency area.
Course Fee
The course fee is €75.00. The fee covers seminar participation, coffee break and access to event resources.
A receipt will be issued to all participants.
Parking facilities
Participants are advised to make use of the venue’s underground car park. Parking space in the underground car park is available on a first come, first served basis. Parking is also available close to the venue.
