Seminar Description

In December 2020, the MFSA released its “Guidance on Technology Arrangements, ICT and Security Risk Management, and Outsourcing Arrangements” which follows the position taken by European Supervisory Authorities (ESA) on the importance of technology in the compliance function both as a fundamental enabler but also as a source of new risks and requirements.

These are currently guidelines, in preparation of a what will form part of a Regulatory Framework.

These will soon become an integral part of the business process, whether to address increased business awareness of risks of Cybersecurity, or pushed down by the Authorities through these new regulations.
