AML Obligations in the Gaming Industry – 2 October
The session will focus on the practical application of AML/CFT obligations for the iGaming industry. The session will take into consideration areas such as the CRA within an iGaming context, the BRA, the JRA and the onboarding of players, including the element of timing as described by the implementing procedures part 2 – remote gaming. Furthermore, the areas of Sanctions obligations and how these can be applied within an iGaming context will be discussed. At the end of the session, attendees will have a better understanding of their AML/CFT obligations within the Maltese legal framework, including sector specific AML Regulation, together with reference to other practical applications of policies and procedure to ensure an efficient and fast onboarding of players within such regulatory obligations.
